When I went to work for myself, I named my company Vivamus Concepts, Inc. "VIVAMUS" comes from the Latin motto "dum vivimus vivamus " -- since we are living, let us live well -- which what I achieved by owning my own company.
I first came across the motto in Robert A. Heinlein's "Glory Road" -- a great adventure story. The motto was engraved on the hero's (Oscar Gordon) sword (Lady Vivamus).
It is also the motto of a New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewe -- Knights of Momus
I also named several sailboats Vivamus.
